Most offensive color combo...

I figured this would turn into an Urban Grey bash thread. One of my personal favorites is the old school, dark grey and tan micarta that I have. I think there's certainly a benefit to having a coated blade on a big chopper and it looks "natural" to me. It's all in the eye of the beholder for sure. That blue/black with orange g-10 g-rex is QUITE interesting indeed!

Most G-Rex handles are very ugly. :barf:

What is that Off Duty Tony? Black canvas with spruce and tan G10?
I hate to say it but we may have a winner:cool::cool:

I think most was the key word in "I think most grex handles are ugly" most meaning not all, (oops Gerberblades already made that point, o well) I like your OD, a lot TonyG. Ill take it.:foot:

For some reason urban grey and the blue handles clashes to my eye.

What's not to love? :D ;)

(Just hamming ya Bigfattyt)

OD and Tan is fugly to my eye. I meant to order my original CGASH as Sage and Tan, but the order form was like a Florida ballot (Desert Olive and Olive Drab) and wouldn't you know I received OD instead of DO. I blame my liver, and my liver blames PEBKAT.

Amy and Busse made things right, of course! :) Just not a color combo for me.

It is interesting to see others like that color combo, though... :)

The ugly-King that comes to mind is that crazy translucent greenish-yellow-white G-10 that adorned a few AK47s.

I hate to say it more... that was an unfortunate way to treat an OD :grumpy:

But that OD is ground like no other

.

Bama clay and tan was out there.....

Hey, I bought that Bama Clay FSH and I bought it because it was beautiful. Mostly I'm tired of tan and black finishes, and I'm not a big fan of urban or muddy. The last dozen or so have all been dc or satin.

Anything with Urban Grey or Sage.
Oh and the newer Artic White and Bama Clay.

Heck I should have just said the coatings I do Like...OD and the no longer avaliable Tan. Black is OK, but does have to much crickle in it.

Satin with Black Paper or Snake is my favorite combo.
