Most offensive looking knife?

Quite a lot of good examples of stuff to give sheeple nightmares, but most people seem to be fixated on the second part of the question. I've already seen the thread on scariest, nastiest folder, and I've also skimmed through the thread about the most offensive weapon. But I really want to expand the question a little to include examples of blades that really should not have been allowed to see the light of day. Stuff that would have us either saying, "Whoever designed that ought to have been shot," either because the design is downright idiotic or dangerous, or because the knife is just soooo ugly. RH seems to have got the gist of this thread.

Anymore contenders?

I mean the knife? not the girl....

O.k. I really wouldn't mind if you top the girl too.

Anything with a curvy, toothy blade.
Spyderco Civilian, Matriarch, Harpy, or Merlin and the Cold Steel Nogales series.

Any art knife by Gil Hibben - especially the onces made by United Cutlery. They are so offensive, I want to barf when I see them. Not because they scare me - it's just that I can't believe someone would take the time to design, make, and actually sell such pieces of garbage. Well, they are offensive to me, anyway.

The most offensive looking knife I've ever seen was one my Mom forged.

The cutting end of the blade was 1/8" thick, and the handle scales didnt cover what she called the tang.

Still....Mom forged

In terms of "scariest carried fairly often by a forumite", I might have a contender:

I put a Hibben "Dragon Lord" on a cheese tray one time and one woman laughed so hard while holding it I was worried she would hurt someone.

I saw a Combat Smatchet (?sp?) at a knife show recently - if someone pulled that thing on me I would turn and run like hell.

Like the China ripoff of a Benchmade Spike I saw recently. Price - $4.99.

Jens,

I think in a scuffle your customer is as likely to stab himself as the other guy. Way too many sharp surfaces to keep track of. Looks like it would be an interesting conversation piece - I would mount it on a wall.

I would say something like a big pushdagger with theeths on one side (or both....)

Since I'm the only one playing the sheet music, I'll hum a few bars for you guys to catch on ...

Another winner from SMKW - the "Sarge", it has a green handle with a coupla yellow stripes on it. It's a folder, but to open or close it you have to finger-loosen the pivot screw/knob, move the blade into position into the tab on the other half of the handle, and then re-tighten the pivot screw down.

... and another:
some cheap thing with Blackie Collins name on it, from "Camp USA". Black ABS handle, lockback, and a "tanto" blade that has such a ridiculous angle, it could pass for a wood chisel

... and another:
some German made folder where the backspring has keyring type loop attached that you have to pull on to release the lock. And they're not cheap either !

From BudK - the double-bladed ninja sword that you grasp in the middle. It comes with a two-piece carry scabbard that you drape across your back - for ease of carry and rapid 'deployment', of course.

... I got a more.....

RH has got it down. Especially on that United Cutlery ninja sword thing.

In fact, almost anything by UC is a huge, laughable, POS.
