Boy, it's a good thing that James has a 5 year backlog, or he might get upset by people who have never handled his knives complaining about the price.

Hey, anything is worth exactly what you can get somebody to pay for it, but at least Emmerson lets the secondary market determine the value of his bench made pieces.
Piorek's carry systems are simply at the top, and worth a hundred bucks or so, but his blades?
Well, I have to compare this:
With stuff like this...:
...and this...:
...truly sophisticated designs, that can be had for half the money and paired with another top carry system by BladeTech or River City Sheaths for $50 to $75 if desired.
But if a BladeRigger blade is what your heart desires, you have to compete with all the other people who want one too, and there are apparently enough such people to drive the price way beyond the value as a cutting tool.
In my humble opinion of course.
