Most popular knife

Without trying to list all the possibilities, I believe the SAK has the highest percentage of ownership among BladeForums members. What do you think? View attachment 2316661
What model is that please? I have a similar knife with large blade, awl and small pruner blade, screwdriver, saw, but NO ATTACHMENT RING (Pioneer Harvester? Swiss Army 7? or neither?) Thanks

It's gotta be between Victorinox and Case when it comes to what most forum members own , but if some aliens were "monitoring the airwaves " if you will I'll bet I know which 3 letter brand they'd assume is most popular.
Do you thinking they could actually as widely owned as they are talked about ?

I'm betting Victorinox is the most owned but least talked about here, most of that discussion happens in the multitool section and I figure a lot of people have a Victorinox that's just always with them and not really thought about much.
That's kind of how it goes for me with the little 58mm models.

My guess is the Vic classic is the best selling knife in the world. It’s just speculation, but I feel like I read that somewhere.

I was curious so I googled “worlds best selling pocket knife” and an article came up about the best selling pocket knife on Amazon. IMO it was a horrific tactical gas station looking piece of garbage which diminished my view of humanity overall. I wouldn’t dare post it here.

Sorry for the rant! Back to a fun thread.

Maybe, but I'm going to say that compared to the Case Knife, the Case may be first. OH

I thought about this for a millisecond, but then realized that my first knife was a Wenger... my house was a Buck and Scharde house growing up, no Case knives to be found. And I would think there are plenty of people in the same boat.

I have a SAK and several Case XX knives. I'm on the lookout for another SAK a Pioneer I think. My current SAK is a tinker... its okay, but I think I want to ditch the back tools... I'll give it to my boy in a few years probably.

In the general public, worldwide it could easily be something like this.
I have never bought any, but still have a few that came free in magazines, gifts with orders and so on. So do many

Just like the world's best selling whisk(e)y is an Indian based brand many have never heard of
