Which AD20s has the best tip for penetrating cuts? I am thinking it may be the Barong, but AI tells me its' the clip point...

Blues Blues i think you may have a good point about the seax ; )

It is hard to find a good overhead shot of the tip of each of these in the same picture.... From the side angle the barong looks like the tip is more tapered (more acute angle between cutting edge and spine) but not sure if it is just thicker...

so "ai" tends to looks for info on reddit, YouTube and and various websites and not always good accurate information ones...its very often very wrong. always check its sources before you believe anything it says.....

the barong would be my choice....but like Blues im not a stabber, so dont really care.....

I am not a stabber , IMO it would be AD20 Spear-Point
That's stabby but not an AD20S.

It's either Barong or the Poon Drop Point

I would say the most stabby blades are the Seax closely followed by the spear point! The original clip points (not the V2's) are fairly pokey also!

We dont really live in stabby times ( at the moment) But the barong would best excel if we are to analyze that model based on the pros and cons of the spear point blade shape

Here's a couple pics of the Barong vs the Seax. The Barong has thinner stock and behind the edge, while the Seax keeps a pretty thick reinforced tip. So if I wanted to poke into something and then slice, I'd pick the Barong. If I needed to penetrate something tougher and stab hard, I'd pick the Seax.
