Most suitable handle material for KITH?

This is my first KITH. My blade is done and now I need to make handles for it. I'm thinking something winter-ish or Christmas-ish. Any ideas?

The first thing I think of when someone says Christmas-ish and colors first thing that comes to mind is red and green. Maybe consider doing something with that G11 and red spacers although that green is considerably lighter in color than the traditional colors? Granted red and green aren't the most flattering colors especially on a knife but maybe there is something along those lines that might help?

I don't really mean that. It's a beautiful wood, but it would be horrible in a knife.

Red buffalo horn from Tracey Mickley and patina'd copper liners. You can do a 30 second patina by hooking your battery charger thusly (follow this to a tee! Not responsible for your mistakes!)
Positive to right liner
Negative to left liner
DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH! (Duh! but worth mentioning)
Put a rubber washer between them and use a NYLON bolt and nut to bolt them together.
Put them in a bath of an electrolite. (Salt water will work nicely)
Turn on the battery charger, and it will start to fizz. This is hydrogen and oxygen being seperated and released. so open up some ventalation. Brown's gas is RIDICULASLY Explosive.

30 seconds should turn your copper blueish green.
