Most useful (yet practical) Swiss Army Knife?

The Medium (34) is a chunk. Before getting the 29 (S) I carried a 41, but only by connecting a dangler to my belt loop so it wouldn't ride in the bottom of my pocket. If my memory serves me, this was before Leatherman combined the Squirt S4 and P4 into the PS4, meaning I didn't need scissors or pliers on the SAK if I put the PS4 on my keychain (and I don't need the saw).

Those driver bits sure are handy though, aren't they?
It is chunky, but I do like the pliers and scissors. I think I’m going to get the small version to carry EDC, and use the medium more for DIY projects. I need to look into seeing if SAK carries an assortment of bits to choose from or if I’m stuck with these ones.. because the biggest Phillips just isn’t big enough… although I’m not sure the typical drill bit would fit in the space allotted, even if the rack had a space for it.

Huntsman for the saw, scissors, and multipurpose corkscrew.
Evo Grip 14, same toolset as the Huntsman, less the saw and small blade (has a fingernail file instead. I wonder if I put an edge on it, if it would hold the edge?) in a slightly shorter package (85mm) than the Huntsman's 91mm.
58mm: Signature for the retractable pen. Mini Champ for more tools, a second Wharncliffe blade, while retaining the all important retractable pen and scissors.

I am ... "not fond" ... of Victorinox's decision to put the punch/awl on the back, on most models.
A most unhandy position for the majority of what I use that multipurpose blade for. (awl/scribe, scraper, Marlin Spike, thorn in bicycle tire extractor, clear/clean screw heads, remove paint, caulk, and tabs when reglazing a wood framed window, drill/carve hole in wood for cord or twine when in the field (trap triggers, for example)...)

They do, but from what I've seen they go smaller, not bigger. Like the T6/T7 TORX bit I use, micro slotted, micro hex, and the like. I did a ton of searching for alternative brands, but my memory is fuzzy on what I found. I do remember that the ones that that had T6 were too long and/or didn't have the detent ball. And of course I don't remember if they had fatter phillips that might work because that wasn't what I was looking for.

I’ve been watching this thread and thinking a lot about my answer. I have more than enough different SAK’s to cover virtually every need. When I’m in the outdoors I usually have one with a saw, but even then i rarely ever “have” to use it. When I do it’s more because I feel like using it. But for everyday stuff I think the Passenger, now discontinued, has a lot of features and with 3 layers it is easy to carry. I know it doesn’t have scissors, but up until a couple years ago I never owned a knife with scissors and I’ve carried a SAK for over 30 years and made it just fine. This one here was made by our very own Spikediesel Spikediesel by doing a scissors delete from an Explorer and addding the plus scales for a few extra little goodies.

It's the Tourist for me, which has the same tools as a Spartan, but a size down. I use it every day and would be lost without it. The large flat screwdriver is the most used tool. I'm a painter and I use it to open cans and remove/replace switchplates, etc. The awl comes in handy to remove those screw-in anchors if the Philips bit strips them out. I like wine and find the SAK corkscrew to work pretty well in a pinch. And the two knife blades get used quite a bit as well.
