Most well balanced Busse, what's yours?

I didn't have them all yet...

But something about the INFIdu / Ratmandu is just magical.
The thin CS Boss Jack is also great and is seeing the woods quite often, Axe Hammer is very good..
And I really like the BWM CF. Looking forward to receiving my first DSSF to compare to the TGLB.

Do I have to choose one? For now I pick the CS Boss Jack in 0,18 stock.

This one...I suspect it's similar in balance to Will's WF B8...

And this one...it's true the MO BURP's sweet spot is devine...I own a Varsity & a Coach and they don't feel as effortless as the MO!

I can't do it but those MO's make me want to grind the ass off my Burp-
So far, all my Busse's balance just like my checkbook -at absolute zero :D
For such a long blade the SK balances really nice - On TG's, no idea what a LB feels like, but I love my M-A2 a lot, and the surprising thing is, I was NOT hot about it all, in fact had already accepted I'll pass it on -but that's not happening - I love how it feels in every way. If I was walking out to the woods it might be my first choice today, tomorrow may be different and most likely will be- but I've got this BG Batac floating around the shop that I'm growing quite fond of, really nice feel, don't care if I scratch it and of course I had to make it pretty :D

Apples to apples...

I've got an 1/8" roll pin punch thru the talon holes of the 3 variety of BURP ... it's a little unorthodox viewpoint maybe but perhaps it'll give an idea of if you own a single BURP of how they compare relative to one another.

The usual suspects...from front to back:

MO BURP
Varsity BURP
Coach BURP

That's really cool Petey!
Thanks man!

It's <almost> as much fun spreading the Busse gospel as it is usin em!

As yall can see, the MO & Varsity are fairly close as you'd suspect...but my montage can't show how much differently they "FEEL" in hand...

not that the Varsity's bad...it's wonderful....but the MO is on a whole different plane of balance nirvana! :D

And the Coach balances like a total different model in my opinion. Once again, none bad...just different. :)

There’s no “wrong” answer, of course, but a few that I haven’t seen mentioned yet:
-R6 (Rats count, right?)
-Sarge 7, which was just a mind-you-know-what to me when I first held one, because I couldn’t believe how light and well-balanced a chunk of INFI that size could be.
-Silent Knight, which really surprises me to not see any mentions about given that it’s the new hotness...

Of course, all these statements apply to models sporting micarta. G10 can really change the point of balance. Having said that, a certain Ergo model feels great with G10, in my experience.

The SH Satin Jack that I, sigh, sold was maybe the most perfectly balanced knife I've ever owned. It was really "quick" for a relatively long blade.

Since TGLB has got props more than once, I’ll have to contribute the Dog Soldier to this thread. DS original not DS8 as far as balance goes. It is very light and fast in the hand. Love it!

Well anyway, I still have some of mine off at various custom shops, but in a side-by-side-by-side, etc. analysis, I have to give it to my Stripetition TGLB with canvas micarta.

Zero Tolerance NO and SH!!!

The "thinner" NMSFNO with sanded micarta as well!

Honestly, I would have to say (if I can say only 1) my #1 most well-balanced BUSSE is the BIBB - it is an absolute dream in the hand with the Euro handle and blade shape and thin stock - kind of like a ZTSH with a mild BOLO blade and euro handle...

This one really surprised me with how it felt in hand! I always wondered what the big brother to my edc Meaner HACK would feel like and I was sad to have to send it back home!

This is my best balanced and definitely most used Busse. I finally touched it up a bit after years of hard use.
