OAL: 7 1/4"

Blade: Flat Ground 3 1/2" X 7/8" X 5/32" with distal taper; Craig Barr (Deer Mountain Forge) random Damascus; full tang (not tapered) for increased grip. NOTE: This blade was deep etched and polished out. It is very, very polished although the pictures don't show it. I had to tone down my lighting for the photos so it wouldn't wash out. Think about it, just trying to set up lighting to photograph a polished blade with a Mother of Pearl handle - it's not easy (I'm a knifemaker not a photographer);)! Therefore the pictures do not do this piece justice compared to the first impression in real life.

Guard/Hardware: Nickel silver, nickel silver pins.

Handle: Grade AA MOP with black and white spacers. This is the real McCoy, not the plastic imitation MOP and it's hard to see the amazing curl throughout the pearl. Scales the size required for fixed blades are expensive - $64 for this pair! That's why you see more of the imitation being used on fixed blades.

Sheath: Hand sewn medium brown 8-9 oz premium tooling leather (Boot quality) with leather belt loop for right hand carry.

Price: $200 plus $10 shipping to CONUS
Paypal: wayneandrainy@aol.com or personal check (inquire for details)

A classy mini-hunter for taking on a hunt, a gift (Fathers Day is right around the corner!!! Hint to the ladies out there!!!) or the perfect addition to a collection of pearl knives. I’m letting this one go for much less than I normally would because there are very minor chip outs near the pins - one on each side. They were repaired and you can't feel them nor will they affect the integrity of the knife but they are still slightly visible. Other knifemakers may agree that it’s a 50/50 shot when you’re drilling MOP even when you take the many precautions and use brand new sharp bits at the right speed:mad:. Regardless, it is still a beauty.

Thanks for taking a look and let me know if you have any questions.
