Motor & Drive Recommendation/Confirmation

If you go with that drive, make sure you order the drive in 220/240VAC single phase input and 240 three phase output.

The drive unit shown is not NEMA4, so you will have to mount it in a dust free space and operate it with the NEMA4 remote pad option.

A KBAC 27D in NEMA4 will be a better choice.

I don't see the 119418 on that chart, but it is a 3450RPM motor. I prefer a 1750 RPM unit. The VFD will run it at 120Hz, so it doesn't need the speed, and you most use the VFD to lower speed, anyway.

Get the KBAC. You won't be sorry. I wouldn't bother with 3hp just because you need the bigger (more expensive) VFD. You can get a 2hp Leeson and a KBAC27D for much less.
