I've built a 2x72" belt grinder. I was running it with a treadmill motor for a short time, until that motor crapped out on me. I've purchased a 1.5hp single phase motor that previously ran a mill. Upon opening the panel, I found myself a bit stuck. It can run at 110/220, and I'd like to run it on 110, counterclockwise rotation. I've looked at various how-to's, but each motor seems different, and the wiring diagrams on this one don't seem to be labeled as to rotation/voltage.

I'm attaching photos of the interior of the panel and the wiring diagrams, in the same orientation (bonus: my toes). Any help as to how to wire this thing would be greatly appreciated. And the bit about it being pre-wired 110 doesn't apply, as it's used. The guy said he thought it was wired 220.

It looks to me like the wiring diagrams on the left are for 110 volts. the top one is one direction, and the second is the opposite direction. The group of diagrams on the right, would be applicable to the motor name plate stat's on the right side, i.e. the high voltage connections.

So, would the little lines between the posts in the diagram be where I would put the little copper/brass connectors that are currently in an L configuration? I assume the wires from the wall would then connect to the parts where the line leaves the post and goes off the side of the diagram.

It is hard to say with that euro style motor label, but generally the connections labeled are external (user connections) and not internal wires you cannot access.

Are the terminal labels marked, molded, onto the plastic terminal housing?

Yes, though it's ceramic. The Z1 U2 V2 etc are labeled on the ceramic piece, and correspond to the diagrams on the plate.

I just decided to give it a shot. On the diagram, top two are 115, bottom two are 130. Left is cw spin, right is ccw spin.
