i made this from a billet of motorcycle. chain i welded up, it's a little different, it was going to have a leather wrap handle, but it kinda looked good without. i rounded off all edged, so it has a very comfy feel to it no matter which way you hold it.
the knife measures 7 3/8'', with a blade 2 5/8'' blade. 1/4'' thick tapering out to the point. i hand sanded the knife , then bead blasted and etched in ferric chloride, to give a different texture to the finish as well as the etch. the blade is edge hardened and tempered.
