These are the best and most expensive long distance radios that Motorola makes. They have up to a 5 mile rance (2 watts of power), and work with Ni cads or alkaline (6AA) batteries in 2 removable trays. They operate on 7 FRS and 3 GMRS UHF Frequencies with 38 Interference Eliminator Codes and have Channel Scan, Voice-assisted Programming, 12.5/25.0 KHz Bandwidth, Selectable VOX Hands-Free (with optional accessory), Talk Time Features Up to 10 hours with NiCd battery (when used for 5% transmit, 5% receive, and 90% standby) and Up to 22 hours with AA alkaline batteries (when used for 5% transmit, 5% receive, and 90% standby). Total dimensions are 9.75"H x 2.5"W x 1.25"D (6.25" without antenna) and come with a 2.5" spring action belt clip. Also included would be 2 Motorola VOX Earbud with In-line mics.
