Mountain Bike Tire tubes ? Replace or Patch

I always work with what i got. If i have a new tube, then i use it. If not , I patch it. I always patch the flat when i get home. Also, i don't throw flat tubes away. They are good for all sorts of things. I just used some of one the other day.
 
good qual tubes- the lightweights that came with my scott genius were like condoms!
puncture resistant tyres.
vulcanising patch kit.
my mate dave rides 300km /week to work he has tubes that are more patch than tube.
how about going tubeless?
