I live in a small suburban town in CT of around 25,000. Someone started an fake email with pictures of a mountain lion stating it was in our town. Turns out, since people are pretty close in my town, that this email got forwarded to about half the population. I just saw on our local tv network, the game warden stating that this was a hoax and the pictures were taken in Wyoming. I also read in the newspaper that the warden's office got about 50 phone calls of worried citizens. Its amazing what a few pictures can do to a town full of city-slicker types.

You should have been here when the bears were sighted in Jackson (farther south than they've ever been). People literally panicked, even the cops. They had no idea what to do.

Yeah, I love how the typical green weenie thinks that my kids should live with wolves, mountain lions, and bears in the backyard, but they piss themselves if they think one is in their own state.

I want mountain lions and wolves in NYC and every other eastiern city, hopefully eating the greenies that try to pet the wolves and lions.

Exactly, same goes for anti-gun people. They are against guns until they need one. Rosie O'donnell being one of them

What would she need a gun for? No one is horny enough to rape her, and no critter is hungry enough to eat her.:D Except her partner, of course...:foot:

Gag is right!

What sheeple town in CT was this? I have quie a few friends who are DEP officers up there.

Here's the sheeple rumor-mill website at work. This is FUNNY reading. Everyone has convinced themselves through mass hysteria that they also have seen cougars! LMAO! :D The posting stopped when the news announced it to be a hoax.

I figured it was up near Putnam since many Sheeple reside there that work in the big H, chuckle....Lynx's are'nt in CT and bobcats are'nt that plentiful either last time I checked. But I have been gone since 2002 so maybe all of a sudden all the casino construction is drawing these predators to CT?!! ROTFLMAO!

I live in Thompson...you should hear the "city folk" up in the quiet corner. You would think there was a Mountain Lion behind every tree or rock.

Now Fishers have been getting larger, one got my GF's cat  Saw it a couple nights later in the back yard, it got away before I could get back in for my shotgun. Lost track of it in the woods.
