This knife if fully forged from tip to tapped tang which gives the blade a crazy good balance. The palm swelled handle also fits and feels great in the the hand. I flat ground the blade and sharpened with a hair popping secondary convex edge which is differentially heat treated to a hardness of about 60 Rc. The blade finish on this knife is formed with a small ball peen hammer during the forging process giving a nice rustic look and file work jimping is added to the spine for a touch of class.

SPECS:
Steel: I started with 1/4 inch thick 1095 and forged the blade and shaped and tapered the full tang under the hammer. Differentially heat treated with and edge hardness of 60 Rc

Blade: Length is 5.25 inches from tip to wood scale with a peaned finish and file work spine

Overall Length 9.5 inches

Handle: Fiddle back walnut scales with black spaces attached to the tang with loveless bolts and epoxy and finished with Tung oil.

Sheath: 8/9 ounce tooled leather with belt loop for right hand carry.

Price: $105 plus $5 shipping in US
