Hello dear brothers,
With God's good will i managed to finish a new and special folder - 'Mountain storm' - the first and one of a kind XL frame lock in our portfolio.
I will start with the ending somehow by saying that i simply love this knife mostly because that instead of it's generous dimensions and tough construction is still very light and slim but with a 'safe' feeling when in hand.
The steel of choice was 26c3 at 64 hrc - clay hardened with etched hamon, full flat grind with a fake back edge in 0.08" stock that cuts like a laser
Hunters green micarta main body, 'giant' twill Toray carbon fiber bolster, heat treated stainless steel frame/liner, milled bolster pockets, stainless fittings and brass washers.
The blade of this 'guy' is 3.35" compared with or usual design that is 2.95" hence the XL name
The price is only 270 usd.
