This a BIG Bowie. Its made from 1/4" O1 tool steel. 8" blade with a clipped point and an unsharpened swedge. Full flat grind That was hand sanded. I cleaned the flats but left some dark on it to give it the rustic look. It was ground flat but I left quite a bit behind the cutting edge (for killing giant bears). I ground the microbevel to a 30 deg angle but it will still push cut paper. The 4 3/4" handle is made from black locust, 1/4'" brass pins and brass lanyard tube. The balance is right at the ricasso so its very quick in the hand.
The sheath is made from 10 oz veg tanned leather. It has been hand sewn and dyed to accent the handle materials. The retaining strap has a grasp-tab to make it easy to open. Belt loop is big enough to fit nearly any belt.
Must be 18+ to purchase. You are responsible for the laws in you area.
Price is $350 shipped in the USA. Paypal only please. First "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it.

Wow I love the looks of that one! I just bought another knife on Saturday or I would be all over that! I have over 30 custom knives and all but 1 are large Bowie/ camp knives! Also 8 to 9 inch blades are my preferred length that I gut and skin and process big game with. I will be watching for your work once I get my knife budget back. Once again awesome work that any Mountain Man would value as much as his Hawken rifle!

Beautiful Knife. Love your logo. Logos on knives are an important aesthetic that many knife makers really make a mess of.

Again, Beautiful Knife!!!!
