Here is a pre-ban walrus head mount, it hung in a well known sporting goods store in Fairbanks from 1965 till 1985 and then in the owners house. We have the appropriate paperwork. It is a cow with 18 inches of exposed tusks. They are 1 1/8 by 1 5/8 at the thickest and 3/4 X 1 inch two inches from the small end. Overall the mount is 26 inches high and 10 inches wide. Cows have the smallest cores, if these were cut for handle material they would make six to eight very nice handles or you could keep them just like they are, your choice. They have very nice color and texture.

They have been stored indoors for over forty five years and are nice and dry. If used for handle material, it is best to let them acclimate to your climate before using, a month or two would be fine.

I am happy to answer any questions about the stuff or working with it. It is guaranteed to be legal, happiness is guaranteed, if you find you can't use it when you get it in your hands, return it for your purchase price back, please do that within seven days. I take all the normal forms of payment, Pay pal, checks, or credit cards over the phone. The price shown will be plus shipping, I ship using USPS flat rate shipping where I can, I ship anywhere it is legal and charge only the actual shipping charges.

You may PM me, email me or call me on the phone (though sometimes I have loud machines running and can't hear it).

I am asking $1,000.00 for this one plus shipping and insurance.
Thanks for looking.Sold

I'm not sure why this is still here, it's really a very good price. Maybe everyone is thinking of other things right now.

Ya, like how I don't have the money....and, I wonder how many knife handles are in there? And, geesh I can't cut something like that up...or can I? :D
