The Mountaineer The very first one I made, there have only been 3 made. It is hand made from 3/16" x 1 & 1/2" wide 1095. It is 11 & 3/4" long, the blade is 7" long. The flats are ground 4 degrees per side The swedge is ground at 10 degrees. It is hand filed and sports hand sanded and buffed Cocobolo handles. There are four 1/8" mosaic pins and two 1/4" mosaics with open square centers. The grind lines are not perfect, I made this one a while ago and it has been in my drawer so I am putting it up for someone to get a first of its kind knife.
