Mourning a lost Sebenza Update: Found!!!

Think I'd call the cops, or be patting everyone down personally. All rules and my mind would have gone out the window here. Very sorry to hear this. Hope either turns up, or someone returns it.
 
I holy you just misplaced it, it's a sad day when co workers become thieving S.O.B.'s

THAT SUCKS! I feel for you. Were you showing it around at work? Would you coworkers have an idea of the value? Hopefully it shows up.... As UK said, I'd report it to the cops and to you company security.
 
I lost a large 21 silver dog paws sebenza. The pain never goes away I can tell you. Especially when I still have the empty box. You just learn to be even more attached to the ones you carry.

No doubt. How well do you know them? Is your desk somewhere that a random person walking by could have swiped it? Do your co-workers know about your knife obsession?
 
Sorry man. That's a tough one to lose.

Where do you work, are there cameras, would your co-workers know the value??
 
Oh man, i feel like going postal for you up in your office...

Id post some outrageous reward just so you could get SOMETHING of a clue to if someone stole it. Chances are the person who stole it would also want that big reward too.
 
Damn that sucks, such a nice knife too.
Don't be too quick to judge, like you say it may have been stolen, not a sure thing right? I have been in situations where I thought my property was stolen and it was only misplaced, I felt foolish for thinking it was my coworkers. Best of luck, I hope it turns up. My wife does a prayer to st. Anthony or something along those lines...said it works for her.
 
Last August my Sebenza spent a long hard night outdoors in my backyard...I thought I had lost it and it was gone for sure. I went outside and found it clipped to the side of one of my patio chairs.... It must have snagged when I got out of the chair.



I was so relieved, but also so mad at myself for almost losing it! It didn't help that it was a super rainy night with Utah's unforgivingly hard water...I had to polish out two little speckles of rust :( At the very least I wasn't so afraid of using it harder after that! Really sad to hear friend, I hope you end up finding it or getting it back!
 
Man what a gorgeous knife. So sorry to hear of your misfortune. I really hope you get it back somehow!
 
That hurts.
Is it possible, that someone borrowed it and forgot to give it back?
There are a lot of people asking about a writing instrument and put it in their pocket, same goes for lighters,...
I keep my fingers crossed you will get it back.
Hopefully there is a solution to this.
Maybe telling around you misplaced it, so that the finder gets a chance to put it back or tell that he found it somewhere.
Getting it back being the primary target.

It is only a possibility it was stolen. It was in the leather pouch, so it may have slipped out of my pocket. Perhaps in the bathroom. I work at a University so if I lost it, there is a good chance a student picked it up. I try not to let it bother me too much as it is a material thing. There are worse things in life than loosing something no matter what the value.

All the more reason to post a reward. Someone who just picked it up may happily take a couple Franklins for it.
 
I empathize with your feeling of loss. I can only imagine what you must be going through. Please forgive my ignorance, but I don't understand how it is either stolen or lost. If you set it on your desk and it is gone, then someone stole it. If it was in your pocket and fell out, then it is lost. Is it that you do not remember where you saw it last? Sorry, I'm just trying to fully understand what's likely happened here.
 
It was on my desk, but I usually put it in my pocket when I leave the desk. All I know, is at the end of the day it was gone. I don't remember if I left it on the desk, or if I had it in my pocket. Middle aged short term memory is not very reliable.
