Mouse trap for survival?

No personal experience, but I have seen people have problems with Buckshotscamp, in getting their orders & being able to contact him.

Rat traps can catch fish, too, wire them to a board and set it sideways.Anchored, they will take ducks and wading birds as well. Survival use only , of course.

I use rat and mice traps, but not for trapping. I set them all arond my camp in various places, with thin thread tied to the trigger and to a tree. Get too close to my camp, i'm going to know about it. While your figuring out what the hell that SNAP was, I be using something from the bag of evil to say hello.

Bushman although I think rat or mouse traps would collect food the first thing that came to mind was for peremiter security and booby traps.

2 items I have long thought would be handy for small game, rat traps and those cheap barbed frog gigs.

Neither take up much space or weight.

I was looking at one of the gigs yesterday - thought it might be a good idea.

don't think a rat trap is going to kill a racoon,being a ADC trapper I've seen coons take a lot to do them in.Rabbits,birds,tree rats and ducks should be no problem.Maybe stronger springs could be made?

Better to go with a #110 conibear for coon size & under. it has a wider use range & is light & sturdy.

A-yup. just be careful you don't get a skunk
