BTW Rob, how did you get that patina? Was it just pure use or some formula? It is on of the finest examples of what INFI should look like.

I wrapped the blade in paper towel and soaked it in balsamic vinegar for a couple of hours. ;)
 
The black one in my pics was a Mole Jack from skunk. I can't remember the whole story, but it was interesting. Well, of course it was, it was skunk.

I thought that grind was familiar, the moles were the only ones with that look. The narrow line at the spine gives it away. :) I do forget how different the grind was supposed to be besides that.

The coating was supposed to be some heat resistant stuff, extra heavy duty.

No Rob, these were the latest Military overrun SJTACs that were offered at knob creek 2012. The grind is certainly different from the original, but I'm sure Garth would know more about exactly how they differ.
