Love the scales on that thing, btw. It looks great.

Well new as in missing the thumb break retention and somewhat dull. I guess 20 years in a safe dulls the edge :rolleyes:

The edge was mirrored which i dont believe blackjack/effingham mirror polished their edges before shipment. so 2+2= not really new and i overpaid. but yeh well i wanted one. the guy will be getting a neutral feedback with exactly what i just wrote. but since i was gonna use it regardless im not to upset

ETA: Just saw your post above, maybe you can send the seller an email and ask him for an appropriate refund. This has worked for me in the past when an item shows up not exactly as discribed.

nah. i like the camillus stuff on it, they fit well and really make the handle comfortable. I was worried about size since the BJK/EFF stuff had each pair of scales made for each knife (yeh look it up im for real) but they fit snug so they will stay.

The pic of the chopping was me NOT EVEN TRYING. just 1/2 arsed and it was just throwing wood in all directions. I cant wait to see what will happen come full throttle. Yeg i love the camillus micarta. I want more pairs but either you need a bk77 or to get lucky in the exchange.
