Surviving Christmas - surprisingly funny. James Gandolphini is great. does this mean I win if no one knew it? ;)

Troy

Q:Son, we live in a world that has walls and those walls need to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and curse the Marines; you have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives and that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives.

A: A Few Good Men - Nicholson's "YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH" line.

Q: Beware! Time is short! EPA! EPA! ............EEEEEPA!

Sorry guys, you have to remember I'm an old fart ;) This flick was from the seventies. As soon as I can remember something more modern, I'll throw the answer out for you :D

Okay, since I'm probably the only person on Earth that remembers it (I may be the only one who will admit seeing it :o) that last quote was from "Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry", a classically bad movie from way back when. Here's one from this century:

"So. Light meat, or dark meat?"

Not one guess? C'mon guys, you're killing me here. That was from "Evolution", uttered by David Duchovny.

Here's one that is so easy it pains me to use it:

"Shiney! Let's be bad guys!"

Serenity it is!

Sorry for the lapse. Crazy internet wouldn't let me log on to BFC this morning before work and the Air Force doesn't like forums that center on guns or knives.

Let's go back a few years.......

Q: "Hey, we gonna wait for Crazy or we gonna get outa this dump???"

The Wild One it is!

Lee Marvin and Marlon Brando have changed a wee bit since '54. Good call. You're up, sir........

The funny thing is, I was actually watching it on TV as you posted the question...

Here is an easy one...
" I had to come all the way from the highway and byways of Tallahassee, Florida to MotorCity, Detroit to find my true love. If you gave me a million years to ponder, I would never have guessed that true romance and Detroit would ever go together. And til this day, the events that followed all still seems like a distant dream. But the dream was real and was to change our lives forever. I kept asking Clarence why our world seemed to be collapsing and things seemed to be getting so shitty. And he'd say, "that's the way it goes, but don't forget, it goes the other way too." That's the way romance is... Usually, that's the way it goes, but every once in awhile, it goes the other way too. "

Look, strange women, lyin' in ponds, distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government........
