I got stabbed in the back in the parking lot of a Blockbusters when I was 19. Good or bad it was a Sak with a short blade 7mm from hitting my cord. To top it off it was a mistaken identity case all I wanted to do was flirt with the girl that worked the counter. I have not been back to a video store in almost 20 years now.

I just got out of the us army. so I was working day labor pool until I could figger out what to do with my life. I tried to give a guy a ride home that I worked with that day. on the way home he tried to rob me. he stabbed me 4 times in the back 2 times in the front. I have a very hard time walking today because of that.

I worked at a Movie Gallery through college. It's now gone. All movie rental stores are gone, minus Hastings. As much as I enjoy streaming at home, I do remember the community the customers and I had at MG. That is one thing I'll miss about movie rental stores. However, that community takes place at gas stations, grocery stores, and other places we work at and/or often go to.
