Movies...Do You Find Yourself Looking For Knives??

Champion,

I'm also one of those guys that point out the "If he/she only had a knife" scenes in movies.

The wife has been reading these responses with me and has been getting a chuckle out of them. Somehow (and I don't know how) she seems to relate.

Got to go now, I need to finish checking other forums and maybe I will watch "Blade" the movie that a co-worker lent to me.
Hopefully, with a name like that, there will be some edged action!!!
Ya hear me???

I am constantly trying to identify knives in movies, but what irritates me is that half of all knives in movies are anonymous POS fantasy knives that people still expect me to know everything about--oh well.

Soloman,

When it's a cheap POS fantasy knife, just tell them it's a "United Cutlery" insert cool fantasy knife name here "made out of 420J2 steel."

Odds are, you'll be right.

For high quality knives........the Steven seagal movies seem to have the most of 'em.........(and certinly the best knife fights)..as I recall.........under siege 1 had the mark 2.........and U.S. 2 had what looked like a MDK Atak.

And since someone will inevetibly bring it up (me)............Crocodile Dundee........loved the look on the muggers face.

Or, Once you find a movie with a knife, do you find yourself watching the movie over and over again to see the knife scene.
