Is Buck Knives moving to Idaho?

We are building a brand new production facility in Post Falls Idaho.

Better hunting up there!

We will still have a footprint in San Diego.

I know Pirhana knifes are making auto's in Idaho. I'd sure like to see what Buck could come up with in the auto department. How's about it?

Gordon: I know Mission knifes is moving to Texas 'cause of the laws in Calif. so I'm guessing Buck has a similar reason. I don't blame them either.

Why is Buck moving out of California? I honestly don't think i can answer that without getting all bent out of shape. Not to mention the wear and tear on my keyboard.

Here is the short answer, they told us, and many other businessess, to leave. ( In so many words)...

Reminds me of the song "Who are They". It is not some big conspiracy. Here is what CJ Buck said in a earlier thread:

Being a manufacter in America is tough now a days. Just look at Schrade Knives which announced to their employees at the end of July they are out of business. I am sadden Buck is leaving San Diego, but I am looking forward towards a lot of nice quality new designs. Sometimes tough decisions have to be made to stay in business. I hope Buck will be around for many years to come.
