MOVING august first.

Nice. I'd be willing to trade fruit trees for knives...
I need a little big knife to go with this guy-

That is a very pretty and very functional-looking dirk. Rob Roy MacGregor would have approved.

right on Christof... looks like an awesome spot to move... good luck to you folks..

MOVING MOVING MOVING

I'm finishing up 4 handles right now, everything else is either packed or being packed, and I'm packing finishing tools as I get done with them.

Half the shop is MOVED to nevada, the other half goes thurday.

as of SATURDAY afternoon, I'll be on site setting up the new house and shop.

Good deal and good luck to you in the move. Are you still taking orders or on a break till the new shop is set up.

congrats!
moving usually sucks, but this is a good reason.
enjoy the new space!

I'm still taking orders- I'm even working on some this week.

Since my shop building is powered and plumbed, I'll be down for no more than 3 days before I have basic operational abilities. I'm taking orders, just fitting my timeline to the rebuild

well, the trees have to wait until early spring. planting in august is hard on them :D

first thing I'm going to do is turn on the grinder!
second thing is go shooting.

You sound like a man with his priorities in order.

I just moved and it was HOT. Hope it goes well and you guys get settled in.

i hope all is well with you folks Christof...good luck with everything man..

internets is here.

I've been setting up shop, trneching, berming, horsing, and so on. Photos coming soonish.

Back in the game with 2 glue ups today, haven't built the leatherworking shed yet so that will be in the living room for a week or two longer.

Congrats for surviving the joy of moving! :barf:

Better you than me! ;):D

Glad to hear your getting settled.

Here's a shot of the orchard as it stands now. Our goal is to trim this back good, get the pruning under control, and add 5-8 trees. mixed plum and apple, probably.

We are waiting for a visit from the extension orchard specialist to look into our expansion plans on this.

Just to the west of the corral, we've been getting brush cleared out (by hand) to get some goat pens, the sallet, and the archery targets set up, almost done!

With the kids being... kids- I'll have to put up a few sheets of old scrap plywood along the fence or some other kind of backstop for the random 4 year old arrows.
