Moving is...

i don't see how people live in suburbs. my aunt lived in dayton ohio and the houses were so close you could lean outside the kitchen window and touch the neighbors house.

lol... this small town is hardly city, but we were living backed up to woods with deer and other critters in the yard and no regs against shooting and lots of trees.... we will miss all that :(

I'm living in the City (75,000+ people) and trying to get out. Good luck with your move and I hope you're able to get used to the new surroundings.

Yes. Still in Texas. We are just moving about 7 miles down the road. We were outside city limits, now inside city limits. People living so close I can't piss off the front porch or the back anymore. I think civilization is gonna be the death of me.

sorry guys living in the city sucks. Me and the ball and chain ( i mean my loveing wife) lived in beaumont for six months when we first got married. As soon as our townhouse lease was up we moved right back to the country and bought our house so we could never make that mistake again.

I lived in a place like that a few years ago, now I'm in the small town.
It sucks, I like the woods much better. I had Snakes, Oppossum, Spiders, and Bats for neighbors and they were much more friendly!

I love being here in Texas but I do miss going out my backdoor and being on the creek or in the woods within 20 yards.

We live in a nice neighborhood with great neighbors, but I'd give it up for some wood and water.

You just live in the wrong part of Texas. I can't see my neighbors and I am only about 1/4 from where Lake Travis should be...Damned drought

And yea...moving sucks. Due to a piss poor economy, I have to move back from my place to my frikkin college campus to finish out my degree...:barf:

Oh, I know Dougo....Just miss my spot back east.

Yea...I can understand, kinda. I have traveled quite a bit and would never live anywhere but here. I can deal with the hurricanes, tornados, mosquitos, floods, droughts, and all that comes with Texas. I love it here and will never leave by my choice...

Hell, I have six sisters...even when I'M not moving...I'm still moving their stuff, lol.
