I am putting in my 2 weeks notice today. The last few weeks here put me over the edge. With a little encouragement from the boss (ref. earlier post on blade design forum) I am setting out on a new path.

Wish me luck, guys.

Dan

Best of luck to you and the family. Sometimes a change is good and refreshing. You'll do just fine.

Good luck Dan. I'm sure that you'll succeed in whatever you do. Change is stressful though. Check in here often so BruiseLee can cheer you up!:D

What you're doing takes courage Dan. People with courage and confidence make their own luck, yours will be good. Hang tough, make us proud.

Good luck to you and yours. I am sure that you will do fine at whatever you next decide to do.

OK Dan........Where is the 'Blade Design Forum'? Didn't see it on Blade Forums Index, ran a search , came up empty.

You still going to hang around here, aren't you?

Changing careers, jobs is always challenging, but I am sure you have what it takes to make it successful.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. If I could only find a really, really high paying paper route.

Luck.

Sounds like you're going away,
hope you stick around here.

From what I've seen on this forum Dan, you've got the guts, skill, energy and determination to do well at anything. Along with a good sense of self worth, enough to let you know when your job wasn't panning out. I salute you and wish you all the best.

Hi, Dan;

I'm new here so I don't understand the context. Are you moving on from Blade Forums, or from a job that you have that is not Blade Forums?

In either event, good luck.

Don

I get it now.............You are moving to Nepal, .40 cents an hours and all the rice you can eat. Wondered when you would take Uncle up on his offer. :) Just funnin , Dan. When under stress, you have to find a sense of humor....

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys. I'll still be hanging around the forums. Not sure what the future will bring. One thing for sure = that there will be a different butt in the seat I'm in now come Sept. 2 ;)

I'm having mixed emotions right now. I'm glad to be going, but also nervous and a little stressed about finding another FT job.

Dan
