Greetings all -

I have carried my Jess Horn Micarta handled folder for years. Recently, I acquired a second copy of this knife. I would like to have my existing knife's clip moved to the other side for left handed carry. Can I have this done by Spyderco? Should I do it myself? Seems straightforward enough, right?

Thoughts?

spyderco might do it, not sure. ask 'em.

you can also do it yourself, sure.

just make sure to pre-drill the new holes and perhaps use a thread-tapping set for screw-thread, don't tighten the screws too tight to , and use loc-tite or superglue on them

If it requires drilling and tapping you may be braver and/or more machine knowledgeable than me but those holes are tiny. STR one of the regulars here did a Military for me swapping the clip end for end and I was very pleased.

Turns out, this was a simple job. Proud to carry a unique left and right hand pair of plain blade Micarta Jess Horn Spydercos.

Apologies. I should have swapped these in the pic, the left one is #63 which has been on my right pocket for some five years, the one on the right is #950, with the clip swapped over for left side carry.
