Hi guys, I'm writing my last post as a citizen of the State of Hawaii. It's been a long time in the working, but today my wife and I are moving back to Washington State. We've got so many details to take care of and things that could go wrong, but so far everything looks like it's going to work out. Anyway, please wish us luck with our flight today and I'll post again soon once we get settled.

Aloha!

I landed safe. Thanks for the well wishes, Aloha Phil, I would have liked to meet up but alas did not have the time. Andrew, I'm moving to Tonasket, Wa. It's about 25 min. north of Omak and then 40 miles out into the hills. Shoots...

Welcome to the mainland:thumbup:

I love the islands also. I lived there in the early 60's. It was a wonderful experience.

I was born and grew up in Tonasket. My parents now live in Omak, buy I still have grandparents, an aunt, some cousins etc. in Tonasket. My wife has a bunch of family in Oroville and Loomis.

Why Tonasket? You have roots there?

Erin

Yep Erin, I grew up til the age of 14 in Oroville, then later lived in Tonasket a few years back when I first started smithing. Remember, I went to school with your bro in law, David... My parents and the Lambs went to the same church. I got my broken arm set at Steven Lamb's practice when I was 13... My parents still live in Tonasket, they have 20 acres and my shop is still out there above tonasket. Goin' back to the farm.

If your wife/family have any memories of me, they may not be that good as I was quite a little JD by the age of 14...:o
