If this is somehow frowned upon, please let me know, but I thought you Spyder knuts over here would like to see some of the prototypes from the 2007 A'Dam show. To get you excited, here are some names:
SuperHawk
Citadel
Samaritan
Smallfly
Three new waved knives
Improved P'kal
And much, much more!

Thanks for posting this link, I think it will be ok. I'd like to keep my pics on one forum for now. Easier to keep track of that way, when I'm adding new ones.:D

Some of those new knives look absolutley amazing!!! Do you know if the Citadel and Samaritan only come as autos, or if manual versions will be offered as well?

No Crossbill prototype with different handle material? I was definitely hoping for FRN one. Sigh.
But the Flatbyrd tickles my fancy...

Must.....have.....Stretch....

Any idea of release date and pricing on that thing yet?

Now THIS is why I come here.

I very much appreciate this Thread and the chance to see the new knives.

Very, very impressive. And I've finally laid eyes on Mr. Glesser (OK, his picture)!

Many thanks...

Buy a Sharpmaker and you can catch a bit of his knife wisdom and sharpening knowledge for about 45 minutes. :)

Does anybody know what got Sal into making knives? Was he just an every day knife guy like us who saw void in the market and decided to fill it?

Appreciate your efforts, Mr. Blonde, I'm really encouraged by some of what I see .... innovative yet still straight-forward designs like the Stretch2, Samaritan, Catbyrd will be nice additions to Spyderco's product line.

The etched knives are absolutely stunning!
Are we gonna see more of these?
I'll buy an SS Endura etched in a heartbeat!

BETO

====================
Sorry for my english :o

I'm new to this... Will these knives be made for us to buy and if so, when?

The Schempp 7"... :D

All the knives pictured are scheduled for production. However, it will take some time before you see them. I expect most of them to trickle down the dealers in this year.

I compiled all pics on my site here.

Great news! I've really got my eye on the Samaritan. Hopefully it will be out this year :D

Great looking knives!! Thanks Mr Blond for the pics. For some reason, the Spyderco sites runs really slow for me.

The Bison was, in my experience, never really a prototype up for production. Rather it was a concept model that was shown at various shows to get feedback on. I've seen it once or maybe twice, but I'm pretty sure that the Bison concept model was absent not only this year, but last year as well. It seems the idea has been abandoned.
