Mr. Howard Viele passes

    We regret to inform you that Mr. Howard Viele has passed. He was a knifemaker's knifemaker. One of the best. The industry has lost a real treasure. Our condolences to his family and friends.

    It's always sad to hear about the passing of talented people.

    I did not know Mr. Viele but just recently purchased the C42P, pictured below, which is one of at least 3 Spydercos that he designed. It's a great gentleman's EDC that has a timeless appeal and is evidence of his skill as a knife designer.
