there's your picture. out of respect for his family I decided a close up of the wound would not be appropriate.

and for the record sweet fur is squirrels. We suspect that chloe's injury was from a screw in the fence that she caught on while she was jumping to grab sweet fur. Poor thing didn't get the fur just the gash in her chest.
 
oh and he's Mr. Jingle Balls b/c when he used to run down the fence i could hear his brass balls jingle!

I assure you all, I took no pleasure in killing the varment.

It was anything but sporting, he was cornered and I was about 5 feet away with a pellet rifle in my hand and a flashlight in my mouth.

It took 4 pellets to finally put him out of his misery. Tough little bastard.

I wouldn't have done the deed had he not been aggressive with my pups. My smallest, Wizzle, was easily smaller than the oppossum. Had they tangled assholes I have no doubt that Wizzle would have gotten the short end of the stick.

lol.........i'll be sure to let the mr. know. he usually prefers that i just beat the tar out of something w/ the fubar. which helps but damn sometimes i wish it was someones knee cap :grumpy:
