Wow, I am actually so impressed that this continues to go around. I’ve been on Bladeforums for over a decade now- so I’ve seen a few different pass-arounds, giveaways, even an amazing “pay it forward” thread that have come and gone.
And yet, the traditional forum perseveres! I am very proud to be a part of the best corner of the internet, and I’m happy to continue this journey of knives!
Rules:
● Be a paying member of the Porch.
● Post I'm in if interested.
If you are the winner:
● Select the knife or knives you want.
● Replace what you chose with at least equal value knives.
● Use your judgement on vintage knives.
● Please try not to put in more than you take. A couple rounds ago the box was split due to knife count and shipping cost.
I am carrying over the entrants from last round. If you do not to be involved, please let me know.
From last round:
[edit: whoops, I’ll have to manually tag yall in here tonight, it didn’t copy em over.
I’ll try to keep this list updated in a timely manner. Please post below if you want to join, or skip a round!
Here is the box as it arrived to me, I got so excited I almost forgot the picture!

The variety of the box is the best part. I haven’t ever seen some of these patterns in person, and it’s like meeting a celebrity when you get to hold something that you’ve spent far too much time reading about online! The Max Sao custom is very interesting, the GEC 38 is a pattern I’ve looked at countless times, a few nice examples from Case, even the more vintage knives are beautiful.
I looked em over and let it sizzle in my mind for a day and night, I finally decided that I couldn’t stop thinking about the GEC Congress, and the trapper. I like the smaller congresses, usually from Parker or Case. But this “larger frame, less springs” configuration is possibly bridging the gap between the small and large examples of the pattern. I want to try the trapper with the caveat that if I can’t bring myself to carry it, I will give it away in the forum. I have never been a fan of the pattern. But this GEC version is more “squatted” than most I’ve seen, so I want to see if that makes a difference.

My cousin, who has enjoyed knives, but is just now getting into the more traditional side of things, took the a couple of Case patterns he hasn’t had, and the Rough Ryder (which, by the way is built like a tank!).

To break this up, I’ll post my additions to the box below!
