Not g-10 but the red part looks like it a little.

Better than g-10 in my opinion and has not been available for a long time.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is the blade length and width of the MMD Proto in SR-77? I cannot afford it at this time (just spent over five grand on engine work for our 2003 WRX hatchback), but I'm particularly fond of SR-77 big blades and would certainly keep it in mind as a possible future purchase (although I would encourage anyone reading this to snap it up right away - do a search for the thread "What Happened to SR-77" to learn more about this remarkable steel). Thank you for your time and help, and best of luck with your sale. This knife with one of your excellent sheaths is a crazy bargain!
