MRI Results

TKC I knew you would get through this. Be assure that all of us are praying for your complete recovery. Now do as the Doctor says and go out and get a new Spyder :D

Well, I had a successful trip to the doctor, at least I think so.
The doctor agreed that I have increased CSF pressure, and put me on Diamox Sequels 500 Mgs and Hyrdochlrothiazide 25 Mg ( water pill.) We believe that this will work. If not, we will try Verapamil. He didn't want to put me on this right now, as my BP runs LOW.(although it was NOT low today!! It was 122/80, ansd THAT is HIGH for me. MY norm is 100/50.) It is agreed that the increased CSF pressure IS the cause of my headache! So let us keep our fingers crossed that the Diamox works!!

It seems that the Diamox IS helping my headache etc. go away!! I can tell a bit of a difference. Yeah.

Meds. ARE working.....headache going away....Shhhh, don't tell it, it is almost gone!!!

It is great to hear things are on the upswing. Was on the phone with Randy (Nifrand) for a while tonight you two have a bit in common, but the best part is that you both are recovering well.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better. This post sort of caught my eye, and since you are in the Boston area, with a stroke it REALLY caught my attention (I don't cruise around in Community too much). Anyway to make a long story short, one of my closest friends and colleagues is the section Chief of Neurointerventional Radiology at MGH. Hopefully, you won't need his services, but if you do, drop me an e-mail and I'll give him a buzz. We interned together at that place Ben Franklin started and were later felllows at HUP, which is the Philly version of "The General". Being from Boston, you'll know what I mean....don't laugh too hard, could aggravate the headache! :D
