Mrs Westllen here .......

Thanks for the update.

And Wish him well from the guys at the Forum.

Jules get better soon. Our thoughts and prayers go with you.

Best regards & wishes for a speedy & full recovery. Hope to have him back on the boards soon.

Great news. All we need now is for him to get better each day!

And -- it's yet another new day.

And my clan is still wishing Jules and Janie all the best.

We're nervous...but we're still hoping for the best. ;)

Jules has had a rough week. Drain and staples are out. Still eating thru a straw.

But I know he's getting better when he asks me for his ST Ripper & his Sebbies :p

Drs have changed his meds, trying to get him acclumated to the loss of the thyroid. Once this has been achieved, he'll have the gamma xray done then the Radioiodine treatment.

He's amazing, hasn't complained once! The only thing he HAS complained about is all the knife deals he's missing online!

But I think he might be getting a little too comfortable being served breakfeast, lunch and dinner in bed ;)

Keep the prayers coming, they are truly appreciated more than you'll ever know!

Words from Jules: "I would like to say thank you very much for all the kind comments, PMs, calls, cards, you have brought many tears to my eyes from hearing of all the wonderful posts."

Janie

Thanks for that update, ma'am!

Still pulling for Jules ... every single day.

I'm carrying a certain Large Unique Sebenza everywhere I legally can!

[I'm trying hard to refrain from any 'great knife deals' while Jules is under the weather, but it's really really hard!! :D]

I haven't been on the forum much lately or I would have seen this sooner.

Please let Jules know he (and you!) are in my family's prayers.

Sounds like you're taking good care of him Janie!!!
He'll be up and attum in no time!!!
Gob Bless you both!!!!!

PS- Will Jules be taking Levothyroxine as a thyroid replacement hormone?
If so, I've been taking it for more that 30 years and just wanted to let you both know that there is nothing to worry about, and there are virtually no side effects! If you want to talk, please don't hesitate to email or call me! stryker223@cox.net 850-581-2805 ask for Michael :)

Back from 'the road.'

Still thinking about Jules and Junie, and wishing them all the best.
