Some Light scratches on the blade very hard to see has been sharpened. It is razor sharp. This is a wonderful hunter, has fantastic feel and would be the talk in any deer camp. But it wouldn't just be great in deer camp, any outdoor enthusiast would find this knife to be a valuable companion. A very nice gift idea for any outdoors person. Hand forged from one of the premier high carbon knife steels W2 and then carefully heat treated using a temperature controlled oven, this knife is all business and ready to go to work.The handle is a beautiful piece of stabilized Buckeye Burl and the hardware is stainless steel. Knife comes with a custom fitted, hand sewn leather pouch style sheath.
