Hawk still available /// Knight SOLD
Trades considered (especially if it involves a little cash on your end) for Hossom, Busse, Raymond Richard, Sebenzas, possibly others.
2. John Horrigan Pipe Hawk
Here's the original description from BG:
Maker: John Horrigan
Blade length: 8.25 in.
Total length: 20.75 in.
Blade width: 3.25 in.
Blade thickness: 0.39 in.
Item weight: 24.24 oz.
Blade: Hand forged, antiqued S7 carbon steel head
Handle: Curly maple haft
Description: Pipe hawks have always fascinated me: the combination of a weapon with a communal tool. Rustic Pipe Hawk combines these attributes admirably. The head was hand forged from S7 carbon steel and given an antique finish. The haft is formed from curly maple. The top of the haft is finished off with a carbon steel threaded cleanout plug. The overall length is 20 3/4 in. The head measures 8 in. across with a 3 1/4 in. cutting edge. Well weighted for chopping. Exceptional work throughout.
In the interest of absolute full disclosure --- Theres one scratch on the handle, about 1/2" in length, otherwise in great shape. The S7 head has a slight patina, not sure if it came from the maker that way or not, but it came to me that way. It's not been used other than "air chops"
I'm looking for $475 $450. Price includes shipping CONUS.
Payment by postal M.O. or paypal plus 3.5%
