i would love to get together with some cali. knifenuts one of these days... we're all pretty spread out...:o bear and all the so cal guys are a good 6 hours south of me...

MRPINK & NORCALBLACKTAIL are just over the hill from me..maybe 45 minutes away or so... we're going to try and get together one of these days... a bunch of the CALI. busse folks are getting together on sunday, in san jose, which is pretty close... except sunday is my 30 th. birthday...:D:eek::o:cool::thumbdn::thumbup::thumbdn:

T-- i know man...:) i do feel waaaaay older than i am... having two crazy a$$ boys will do that to you.. you should see all my grey hairs...:o they're all up in my beard too...


36, dude... almost 40..wow.......... i would have never thought.. i bet i'll have a semi-full head of grey hair, by the time i'm 36...:o

I can finally see the pics. I don't know what was wrong but we could not see any photos and photobuckets would not come up on out computer either. Now both are working fine.....Nice pics. Looks like fun...

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing!!! I've only hiked that once and it was a mother!!! For me at least, haha, I was about 20lbs heavier when I hiked that!

If you like rappelling there's a good spot off the truck trail before the school by the water pumping station that overlooks the fall there....can't miss it, it's covered in petons, ropes and grafitti. I like that little area, have to try the slopes out this next winter...couldn't make it this year!

What now Tony? I think its cool how there are those guys here that buy from our nice custom makers around the forums and not all the stamped out overseas stuff. Not that chinese knives aren't great paperweights.

There are some great guys around here who do really nice work. I also like to be able talk to the makers. They all take alot of pride in everything they put out so you don't have to really worry about getting a non quality product.

There are some great production knives out there, but I like my customs better.

Same thing with the fellas making sheaths, just awesome people to work with:thumbup:

That hike could be a little difficult but its good training for high altitude.
