blueprint-

which trail did you hike in on. I'm trying to figure out if my brothers and I can do the hike with an early morning start in a half day trip.

Of all the hiking I've done in the smokies I still haven't been to the top of Mt. LaConte

i can't remember the name of the trail there are 5 a believe and some are more rugged than others, i must say though that it was indeed a wonderful experiance. We stayed in the pimitive cabins at the top and loved ever second of it it will not be my last trip to MT. Lacont.
It takes 4 hours to reach the top though if that answers your question

There are two trails I'm looking at for a day hike. Either going up Rainbow falls and coming back via Bull Head or doing an up and back on trillium gap. That's the one that the alpacas take on their trip for supplies from the Lodge.

Thanks
