Not sure if the title fits the piece, but will go with it anyway. This blade is forged and clay quenched 1084. The guard is wrought iron and the handle is American buffallo bone.

The handle has been dyed and hollowed out to remove and soft brittle material. Then poured solid with a high strength epoxy. The finish is 1500grt and then etched to bring out the hamon. There is some hand texturing on the ricasso and up the blade and spine a bit.

Measures 17'' overall, with 11'' of cutting edge, and is 1 1/2'' at the widest point.

Price is SOLD

paypal or postal money order accepted
paypal address is a-takach@takachforge.com

thanks jack, yeah must be, this is a really cool piece, thought i'd of sparked more interest.....

email me for sheath details, but yes it comes with a sheath, and as far as thickness, it's a hair under 1/4'' at the ricasso, and tapers toward the tip.

thanks andrew
