Tony,

Thanks, Bro!

Canvas micarta done by Greg Haugh at Lone Rider Custom Grips. Taken at 6000 ft above sea level!

Brian,

Been a while since I was last up there. Is all that graffiti (especally by one knucklehead) all over the place (on the WLOS equipment, etc)?

I remember the first time I had taken my wife up there I was stunned by that.

Did you go up Fryingpan as well?

For those of you that don't know the area, that's Cold Mountain in the background of the last shot. (The same one from the title of the Frazier novel.)

Blues, the graffiti has been removed. Did not go up Frying Pan as well. We're hitting Cold Mountain this weekend, though!

That's good to hear. You can't imagine how bad it was. (And it was the only place I can think of in that area that was like that.)

Frying Pan is decent with some views. If you get a chance while on the Parkway, go up to Graveyard Fields and some of the areas just north of there in Shining Rock Wilderness.

Thanks for the tip, Blues! I will check it out!

Yeah it's small but due to its construction, materials, and geometry it does the work of blades 2 or 3 times its size.

JW, I've been working hard to get back into my pre-car accident operational-level condition. It is a really sweet area!
