Hope this week is ending well for y’all. Please take a moment to consider this very capable, great looking folder, at an outstanding price.
Microtech Socom Elite (manual) - Born 05/19. Call it a user, although it hasn’t seen much, because it’s been around the block some. 2nd owner. 1st owner stated didn’t use it, but sent it back to MT upon initial receipt to have the stop pin replaced. He said it came back in perfect working order, with very secure lockup, and some marring on the pivot courtesy of MT (pics below). I pocketed it a couple times, played with it for a couple days, cut just a little paper & cardboard, and sent it to a good buddy so he could try it out for a few days. Detent is on the stiff side, so the blade rockets out nicely. Lockup is solid, with a little stick. Factory edge intact and quite sharp. The only visible wear that jumps out at me is some light rub marks on the blade that I tried to show in the pics below, and minimal finish wear on the very edge of the pocket clip.
