Mt. Whitney Trip

Thanks Tony,
This is a hard one to answer because my buddy had one of the worst reactions to the altitude that I have ever seen. It was no mystery in the first place, he always has trouble with altitude. He went slow at first then it was more like ten steps and rest. In between the steps and rests were whimpers and a mouth full of angry lyrics. It took a long time to get up and back, maybe twice as long than if I had done it by myself but this wasn't a race it was a trip of friendship high above the trees, animals, and our worries back at home. Sometimes trips to the mountains or jungle can bring out the best and worst in us all.
