MT06P – Mule Team Fixed Blade featuring CPM-S35VN

I just put in a phone order for mine. The CS person indicated that he had @ 50 Internet orders sitting in front of him, and that was in the first 10 minutes of this being offered. These will sell out quickly.

He had 2 sitting in front of him within 2 seconds I guess. This being my first buy on a limited edition knife, I really didn't know what to expect, so I made sure I was there (probably) first :)

I was doing a search every 5 seconds on the spyderco site starting 1 minute before and yes... the knife was there exactly at 10. great timing!
 
Just got notice that mine has shipped. I'm excited as this is my first Spydie Mule!

zyhano, if your two beat my two, you were quick indeed! Just received mine (my first ever) and they are NICE !! Great edges, too. Thank you Sal.

Both my new T-6 Mule and Halpern Titanium's G-10 scales arrived!
The printing on the S35VN blade is very light, wonder if the new steel is harder to etch?
 
Wow! I just ordered one and when I went back to look at the site, its says "out of stock"! It appears I got the last one?!!

Doubt it, as TazKristi has stated before they don't list all of them on the site as they have walk in customers at the SFO (like me) as well as phone orders. When I go up there today I bet they still have a box of em.

How much were the G-10 scales, and how to get them?

Crucible Industries is still going to make CPM S35-VN. We have over 15,000 pounds on order and some has already arrived. We will have sheet for sale by the first week in February from our warehouse. We also plan to ship material to distributers willing to buy it so they can sell it as well.

As a knife user I'm looking forward to giving S35-VN a good test in the Spyderco T-6 Mule :thumbup:

They are made a "little" under-sized, so Mules with sharp edges (like my T-5's) need a little smoothing of the steel before mounting the scales.

I was never able to find anywhere in their web site the specific pricing options, but I sent them an email, and I now have ordered my own set of scales/hardware from them, so thanks much :D
