MT26P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with Micro-Melt® A11 (PMA11)

OOPS - I didn't even consider the flat ones when I responded to you. Mine are the contoured.
The scales in this video are the scales I have. Hope that helps. Not my knife in the vid but I got my maxamet mule and cf scales right before Dr. Frunkey got his.

Doesn't help me, lol. I have the Halpern (Option 4) scales and the Spyderco sold scales...and, as I mentioned (and has been confirmed above) they seem to be the same. I have no idea if your Option 5 Halpern scales will fit the Spyderco sold Boltaron sheath properly. Best of luck!

Anyone received one yet? Any reviews, just curious while waiting for mine to come in. Wondering how it compares to the K390 one, I suspect they will be very similar unless Spyderco modified the heat treat significantly.

Just in a little while ago; so, obviously, no feedback/review.

Mo2 Mo2 - I haven't tried the flat version...but I highly recommend the Option 4 scales.
i really like the carbon fiber scales that i have. those option 4 scales look really great too way more contouring. i do want to try and make my own tho... i have some marble shred carbon fiber i may try out once i get a hazmat suit to work with the toxic stuff.

I have used my MT26 in PMA11 a fair bit while renovating my new apartment alongside my Enzo Trapper in Elmax (the Trapper have done some of the worst jobs, including downright abuse). I have gotten some chipping in the PMA11 edge when cutting plywood and trimming laminate floors (got it with the Elmax blade as well), very small chippings I might add, each one less then 0,5mm, maybe even less then half that. Cutting lots of cardboard on the other hand did little to dull the blade, and I can get it really sharp without too much effort, getting rid of the chipping did take some work, but nothing unreasonable.
I have also gotten a minor dot of staining near the tip of the blade, small and superficial, but not easy to get rid of.

what do you mean by "cutting plywood?" Like you sawed plywood with the knife and it actually cut?

No, I finished some cutouts made to make the plywood fit around some water pipes coming out at an angle from the wall. I also trimmed the somewhat rough edges left after cutting it with a saw, carving might be more a better word for it. Btw, this was thin plywood, 3 or 4mm thick.
